Specialist – Electricals (Electromagnetics)

One of our prestigious client “Automotive OEM” is looking for   Specialist – Electricals (Electromagnetics).

Position :  Electricals (Electromagnetics)

Experience: 5+ years

Location: Pune

Education: Diploma in Electrical / Electronics/Instrumentation/Mechatronics/Mechanical)

Role Responsibilities:

1. 3D modelling and 2D drawing preparation of EM components and installation drawing preparation.
2. Thorough designing of EM components like starter motor, BLDC motors, alternators, magneto, wiper motor, relays, solenoids, horn etc
3. Integration of lead acid battery, charge balance study, DVP etc.
4. Analysis of field issues and horizontal deployment of learnings.
5. DFMEA awareness and ability to have a review with Vendors.
6. Discussions with vendors for realisation of design.
7. Benchmarking and generation of ideas for better performance, quality, cost, weight

Technical/ Functional

1. Proficient in 2D & 3D design tools like UG NX, PLM tools like Team Centre.
2. Design knowledge in automotive electromagnetics components.
3. Understanding of EM component child parts, its material selection. 
4. Knowledge of lead acid battery development, charge balance study etc.
5. Knowledge required in vehicle electrical starting and charging system. 
6. Knowledge in design tools like SPEED, FLUX, Maxwell etc will be added advantage.

Specific Expertise

1. Design knowledge of magneto, starter motors and battery.
