Quality Team Leader

One of our prestigious client “MNC into Engineering Solutions ” is looking “Quality Team Leader” in Pimpri , Pune. 

Location: Pimpri , Pune

Experience:  10- 12 Years’ experience in Supplier Quality / Plant Quality and Receipt Quality Function.

Qualification: Diploma /Graduation in Mechanical

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensuring customer complaints resolution in time.
• Ensuring the Process audit and closure of all the non-conformities.
• Regularly participating in new product development meeting & ensuring all the activities are completed as per the requirement during that required milestones
• Conducting Internal Audit as per ISO/IATF requirement and closure of all the NCs
• Participate in third party Audits and ensure closure of all NCs.
• Responsible for Fulfill Plant Quality Manager role in absences.
• Approval of Customer PSW & PPAP
• Participate with the customer for APQP/PPAP/FAI / new product developments.
• Lead the customer Audits and ensure closure of all NCs.
• Conduct basic problem solving and root cause analysis activities to eliminate recurrence of non-conformities, utilizing the known techniques /processes like 8D.
• Play key role along with Plant quality and ME team to ensure that Quality is built into the product. Lead & ensure that Quality tools like Control Plan, PFMEA, SPC, MSA is practiced.
• Regularly review and monitor performance of customer related matrices, quality management systems and new product development. 
• Customer PLR & PPM
• Internal / Customer & Certification body audit NCs
• 8D’s closure and effectiveness of 8D
• Getting PPAP approval from the customer

Key requirements:

• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with:
  • ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 standards
  • Quality tools: 8D, PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA, FMEA
  • Internal and Lead Auditing procedures
  • Measurement techniques, layout inspections, and uncertainty
  • SAP and Microsoft Office tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Specialized Knowledge:

• Statistical tools like SPC, MSA, six sigmas (preferred six sigma GB)
• TS16949 Tools like PPAP / APQP / 8D / QSA / SPC / MSA / FMEA
• Lead auditor / internal auditor of ISO9001 or TS16949
• Prototype inspection & layout inspection.
• Measuring instrument handling and skills
• Knowledge about measurement uncertainty
• Eng. Knowledge of PPAP, APQP etc.
• Knowledge of SAP system, MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written & verbal)
