Manufacturing Engineering Specialist

One of our prestigious client “MNC into Engineering Solutions” is looking “Manufacturing Engineering Specialist” in  Pune. 

Location: Pimpri, Pune

Experience: 10+ years in a manufacturing environment

Education: Bachelor’s in Engineering preferred or equivalent experience (Design and improve manufacturing processes and tooling, Specify and install equipment and tools , Ensure process consistency and quality control

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and improve manufacturing processes and tooling
• Specify and install equipment and tools
• Ensure process consistency and quality control
• Lead problem-solving using structured methodologies (e.g., 7 Step PDCA/8D)
• Document and standardize work practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for change implementation and issue resolution
• Implement lean manufacturing and poka-yoke solutions
• Support and potentially lead the manufacturing engineering function

Skills:

• Expertise in machining processes (grinding, honing, lapping)
• Proficiency in quality tools (PFMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA)
• Knowledge of ISO9001/TS16949, Lean, and systematic layout planning
• CAD software experience (AutoCAD, Pro-E)
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills
