Piping Stress Engineer

One of our prestigious client “MNC in Oil and Gas” is looking for “Piping Stress Engineer ’’.

Location: Thane, Mumbai

Experience : 8 to 10 years.

Qualification: BE – Mechanical with 8 to 10 years of relevant experience gained from Oil and Gas / Refinery/Power industry.

Job Responsibilities:

• Exp in Basic, FEED and Detailed Engineering and leading a team for the project
• To be able to work as Area Lead Engineer
• To be able to prepare Project Design basis for Stress Analysis
• To be able to prepare Stress critical Line List as per critical line selection criteria
• To be able to perform independently pipe stress analysis of lines connected to Pump, Heat Exchanger, PSV, Tanks, Columns, Air Coolers, Steam Turbine, etc. with the use of Caesar-II
• To be able to perform flange leakage calculation, Trunnion check calculation, Seismic, Modal analysis, Slug flow analysis using Caesar II.
• To be able to select spring and generate data sheets.
• To be able to perform Piping supporting activity viz. Support tagging and support details, Civil loading activity.
• Preparation of Electrical Design Basis, Electrical Load list, Cable List, Single Line Diagrams, Electrical Schematics and Wiring Diagrams, Interconnection Schedule.
• Layout Engineering including the design of Cable tray, Cable routing, Lighting, Lightning Protection, Grounding layouts including Installation Details and Material Take off
• Use of Navis works for 3D model review.
