One of our prestigious client “500 Fortune Company” is looking for a “Project Procurement Manager” for its Talegaon, Pune plant.
Location : Talegaon, Pune plant
Qualification:
- 12+ years Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain management, global sourcing and logistics optimization initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Technical or Business; MBA preferred.
- Project Management Certification preferred.
- Experience with e-sourcing (ARIBA)
Job Purpose:
The Project Procurement Manager oversees supply-side activities for high-value customer projects, focusing on T2 and T3 projects. The role aims to improve COST, QUALITY, DELIVERY, SPEED, and CASH results for manufacturing plants and fulfillment centers across ISV global locations. The manager collaborates cross-functionally with PSQ, Project Management, Order Management, Category Managers, Production & Inventory Controls, IPM, and Operations from quotation through order award, manufacturing, and delivery to customers.

- Set and reinforce standards for a safe work environment.
- Actively participate to bid review meetings, cross-functional kick off managed by Project Managers and follow up of Customer Projects.
- Engage and Track customer projects, as managed by Project Management Organization,
- during pursuit phase:
- identify major key component
- determine desired process
- apply supply chain tools and processes to enhance leverage
- support customer project objectives and timeline
- Partner with Project Managers to ensure comprehensive plans and secure on time delivery of project orders, by following the standard Project Procurement Process and Templates.
- Process the Change Order Management with the Project Managers, by identifying with the suppliers the cost of the changes and the impact on the lead time. Deploy
- deviations with vendors only after getting the customer approval regarding cost and lead time.
- Working with P&IC, Category Teams and Key suppliers to achieve margin uplift during pursuit phase and recording/reporting the actual in ProTrack during execution phase.
- Work with the Logistics Teams to tension the Logistics Cost on the customer delivery side
- (from Emerson Site to Customer site).
- Making sure the supplier capacity meets the expectation & the price meet the budget during biding phase.
- Making sure the on-time delivery for key components from key suppliers (Casting, Actuators, etc.)
