Specialist – ICE Electrical Vehicle Integration

One of our prestigious client “Automotive OEM ” is looking Specialist – ICE Electrical Vehicle Integration.

Position: ICE Electrical Vehicle Integration

Experience: 5+ Years

Location: Pune

Education: Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics / E&TC, having knowledge in Electrical Systems used in IC Engine vehicles.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for E&E parts packaging in CAD using Siemens NX.
2. Responsible for carrying out DMU checks in all aspects of functionality viz. assembly (DFA) / serviceability (DFS).
3. Responsible for drawing preparation in PLM (Teamcenter) and release activity at various vehicle stages & UG NX 2D,3D handling, drawing preparation & review
4. Support vehicle programs through the entire life cycle including; design, prototype builds, vehicle test and production.
5. Understanding of vehicle electrical architecture & support for preparation of circuit diagram at vehicle system level
6. Co-ordination with various cross functional teams for testing, Homologation, vehicle batches (Proto, Pilot, SOP), Plant, service
7. Handling diagnostics (CAN log analysis) & flashing
8. Technical document preparation for Diagnostic manual, various standard operating procedure, Homologation requirement documents
9. Support field team for issue resolution for design specific/ quality topics.

Competencies:

Technical/ Functional

1. Good understanding of basic theories and design concepts of different electronics and electrical components used in IC engine vehicles.
2. Know-how of electrical system design for alternate fuel vehicles viz. CNG/ LPG/Ethanol/ hybrid
3. Software skills: CAD, UG NX or equivalent
4. Experience with Product Lifecycle Management.
5. Know-how of applicable standards/ regulations and their application for IC engine
6. Knowledge of vehicle harness design considerations, wire size selection, power connectors & vehicle electrical insulation requirements etc.

Specific Expertise

1. Product Lifecycle Management tool (E.g. Teamcenter)
2. CAD , UG NX or equivalent
3. Experience in IC engine Engine Management System architecture development.
