One of our prestigious client “MNC into Engineering Solutions” is looking for  Sr.CFD Engineer” in Pune.

Job Responsibilities and Expectations:

1. Advanced CFD Simulations:

• Complex Problem Solving: Leading the setup and execution of advanced CFD simulations including turbulent flows, multiphase flows, combustion, aeroacoustics, and heat transfer analyses.

• Model Development: Developing and validating complex CFD models to ensure accurate representation of physical phenomena, often involving the creation of custom models or the use of advance turbulence and thermal models.
• Optimization: Conducting optimization studies, such as shape optimization, parametric studies, and design of experiments (DOE) to enhance product performance, efficiency, or reduce costs.
• Multi-Physics Simulations: Leading or participating in simulations that involve coupling CFD with other types of analysis, such as structural (fluid-structure interaction), electromagnetic, or chemical reactions.
• Project Management:
• Project Leadership: Managing CFD projects from initiation to completion, including planning, resource allocation, timeline management, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality results on time.
• Coordination: Working closely with design, manufacturing, testing, and other engineering teams to ensure that CFD analysis supports and integrates with overall project goals.
• Client and Stakeholder Interaction: Engaging with clients or stakeholders to understand their requirements, present analysis results, and provide expert recommendations.
• Documentation: Ensuring comprehensive documentation of CFD methodologies, assumptions, results, and recommendations for future reference and project archives.
• Technical Leadership:

• Mentorship: Mentoring junior CFD engineers and interns, providing technical guidance, reviewing their work, and assisting in their professional development.
• Knowledge Sharing: Leading knowledge-sharing initiatives, workshops, or training sessions to disseminate CFD best practices, new methodologies, and insights within the team or organization.
• Standards Development: Establishing and maintaining internal standards, guidelines, and best practices for CFD analysis to ensure consistency, accuracy, and efficiency across projects.
• Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
• Methodology Development: Innovating and developing new CFD methodologies, models, or techniques to address emerging challenges and improve the accuracy and efficiency of simulations.
• Software and Tool Evaluation: Evaluating and recommending new CFD software, tools, or updates to enhance simulation capabilities and streamline workflows.
• Research and Development: Leading or contributing to R&D effortsfocused on exploring new technologies, materials, or processes that can benefit the organization’s CFD capabilities.
• Quality Assurance and Validation:
• Model Validation: Ensuring that CFD models are rigorously validated against experimental data, physical tests, or benchmark cases to confirm their accuracy and reliability.
• Review and Approval: Reviewing and approving CFD models, simulations, and analysis reports produced by the team, ensuring they meet high-quality standards and project requirements.
• Risk Assessment: Conducting risk assessments based on CFD results, identifying potential issues in design, and proposing mitigation strategies.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborating with other departments, such as design, R&D, manufacturing, and testing, to integrate CFD insights into the overall product development process.
• Technical Reporting: Preparing and presenting detailed technical reports, summaries, and presentations to project stakeholders, management, or clients, highlighting key findings, insights, and recommendations.
• Customer Support: Providing technical support and consultancy to clients or customers, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction with the CFD services provided.
