Trade Compliance Analyst

One of our prestigious client “MNC into Engineering Solutions ” is looking Trade Compliance Analyst ” .

Location : Pune

Experience  :  8 – 10 Years .

Education: Graduate + Trade compliance Certification / Degree

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
  • Interface with 3rd Party customs brokerage providers for the region raising and monitoring
  • customs compliance standards and developing key performance indicators to monitor continuous improvements.
  • Ensure accurate documentation is created and data is transmitted timely to appropriate governmental agencies for all Indian import/export activities via Customs broker.
  • Determine appropriate Harmonized Tariff numbers on import and export shipments
  • Represent the company as needed with customs and trade officials to develop solutions to resolve trade compliance issues with relevant government agencies. Ensure compliance with
  • Indian Customs regulations and other government agency regulations. Confirm such knowledge is factored into the departmental processes.
  • Oversee and complete necessary license application forms (Export and Import)
  • Identify trade compliance risks and provide guidance for mitigation.
  • Oversee application for tariff concessions such as Free Trade Agreements
  • Monitoring the requirements under DGFT, FEMA, QCO and Import/Export compliances, Reduce Duty Spend in Region Optimize Duty and customs relief programs in the region
  • Assist internal cross functions to provide solutions in new projects and milestone activities.
  • Reviewing transactions from a trade compliance perspective.
  • Build internal controls or follow the set internal control by group
  • Manage trade compliance issues involving multiple functions, business units and/or countries by adhering to processes established by Global Trade Compliance Department.
  • Track and publish metrics and KPI’s to achieve objectives and adherence to regulations.
  • Maintain brokerage supplier scorecard Conduct business dealings with the highest level of integrity and regard for governmental and legal regulations and environmental issues.
  • Responsible for handling customs queries in day-to-day transaction as well as the Post audit Queries

 Specialized knowledge:

  • Experience in working with multiple stakeholders across the globe.
  • The ideal candidate possesses these skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills and proficiency in MS office and SAP.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Degree qualification in Trade Compliance related, Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain.
